I’m Evan C Thomas, I’m an illustrator/writer hatched from a jelly-like pupa in Cincinnati Ohio. From an early age I was a junkie for dinosaurs, dragons, and monsters in general. The obsession has continued to cling to me like a parasite.

I love traditional media, specifically pencil for line-work and typically use digital painting for colorizing. I live inside sketchbooks and survive on pizzas. I have an adoration for gratuitous detail, messy sketchy lines, and bizarre textures. I can’t whistle.

I studied Illustration at Columbus College of Art and Design, and I have an ongoing love for fantasy, horror, sci-fi, and insane combinations of each. I play video games, card games, tabletop games, role-playing games whenever I’m not making art. Monster movies are a particular favorite, but I enjoy a stupid array of contradictory tastes in music, books, and film. As previously indicated, I continue to glut myself on pizza whenever possible.

I love nothing more than making art, meeting fellow artists, and using imagination for strange inscrutable purposes.
