Hailing from distant lands, the Hashar are a reptilian race descended from the mystical serpents known as Naga. They are believed to be the oldest culture in Samshara, and many of the empire’s traditions originate from their customs.
While physically weak and frail, the Hashar are famous for their speed and agility. Their fluidity of movement makes them skilled in a wide range of martial arts. They also possess fangs capable of injecting a deadly venom, which they often wet their weapons with in combat.
Like snakes, their forked tongues give them keen senses beyond the comprehension of most races. They often describe “tastes in the air” much to the confusion of other species.
Because of their close kinship with the Naga, the Hashar are well respected as scholars, historians, and spiritual leaders.
